HEAC Media Kit
HEAC's Media Kit provides an overview of the vision and structure of the HEAC program as a whole. The brochure provides the broadest overview. Individual pages provide more detail on each of the HEAC community sites, and the five sectors within which these community collaboratives are working to make change. They also explain the key role of local public health departments, and the ways in which the multi-faceted work of this program is being captured by the evaluation team, so as to expand the evidence-base for an environmental approach to preventing childhood obesity.
The Media Kit is being used in local and state level advocacy, to inform decision-makers about the importance of providing healthy food and physical activity environments for children so that all children have the opportunity, everyday, to make healthy choices.
