If you would like to add an event to the calendar and do not have a password, email event details to HEAC Communications Specialist.
If you would like to add an event and do have a password, follow the instructions below. If you are a HEAC TA Provider or member of the Evaluation team and need the password, please contact the HEAC program office.
- When you enter an event, please include the following information near the top of the description, so that it will appear when people scroll over the event:
- What sort of event it is-training, conference, etc, and on what topic or such. (The event name might include enough info, which is fine. Example: California Childhood Obesity Conference.)
- Who can/should participate (e.g. For HEAC grantees, For HEAC neighborhood sector, Open to the public, For HEAC TA providers and evaluation, etc.)
- Where the event will be (city, state)
- Include additional information as relevant: How to register, how much it costs, deadlines for submissions, registration, etc., contact person for further info, website URL, website for conference hotel or lodging, more thorough description of the event, etc.
- If you know the date for your event, click the "Add Event" button at the top of the 'Add an Event' page.
- If you don't know the exact date, use the "Add Event" button at the bottom right of the 'Add an Event' page, and your event will appear at the bottom of that month's calendar page. (When you later enter the exact date, please remember to delete the undated event.)
