Public Media Center
Organization Overview
Public Media Center is a nonprofit marketing and communications agency that provides the full-range of media, advertising, creative, production and management services to noncommercial groups involved in advocacy, activism, agenda-setting and other public interest activities. Public Media Center also assists groups with specific marketing and media production needs such as opinion research, television and radio spots, press briefing materials, annual reports, websites, posters, fundraising, documentary films, etc.
Technical Support for HEAC Grantees
Public Media Center will develop tools and resources that will help build the communication capacity of HEAC grantees to ad
vance program and policy goals. These will include:
- A briefing kit designed for local commmunities to educate local decision-makers about creating enviroments favorable for healthy eating and physical activity,
- A 5-minute DVD that frames the process of addressing environmental factors to improve community health, and
- Consultation for media and communications materials that advance program and policy priorities.
